Welcome to lafornasotta.com. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from La Fornasotta, a Murano glass factory and official store located in Venice, Italy. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. General Information
This website is operated by La Fornasotta. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to La Fornasotta.
Business Name: JARAMILLO CORTES YAMILETH
Registered Address: Campo del Prà 15/A – 30141 Murano, Italy
VAT Number / Partita IVA: 04578680276

2. Handcrafted Products & Characteristics
All our products are authentic Murano glass, handcrafted by our master glassmaker using traditional techniques. Because of this artisanal process, each piece is unique.
Small air bubbles, tool marks, or subtle asymmetries are natural characteristics of authentic Murano glass and do not constitute manufacturing defects.
Slight variations in shape, size, weight, and color are inherent to handmade glass.
3. Orders and Pricing
All prices on the website are listed in Euros (€) and include Italian VAT (Value Added Tax) unless otherwise stated.
For international orders outside the European Union (EU), local import duties, taxes, and customs fees may apply upon delivery. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including errors in pricing or product availability.
4. Payment
We accept major credit cards and wire transfers. Your payment information is processed securely.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Given the fragile nature of Murano glass, we take the utmost care in packaging our products safely for global transit.
Shipping Times: Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. These are estimates and not guarantees. Delays due to customs or carrier issues are outside our control.
Damaged in Transit: You must inspect your package immediately upon delivery. If an item arrives broken or damaged, you must notify us at lafornasotta@libero.it within 48 hours of delivery, providing clear photographic evidence of both the broken item and the original packaging. Once verified, we will arrange for a replacement or a refund.
6. Returns and Right od Withdrawal (EU Law)
Under European Union law, customers within the EU have the right to return standard purchases within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.
Condition of Return: The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and packed with the same level of protection as received. Glass is highly fragile; items broken during return transit due to improper packaging will not be refunded.
Return Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item was received defective or damaged.
Exemptions: Custom-made, personalized, or bespoke glass items cannot be returned or refunded unless damaged upon arrival.
7. Intellectual Property.
All content on lafornasotta.com, including text, images, logos, designs, and glass models, is the exclusive property of La Fornasotta and is protected by Italian and international copyright and intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited.
8. Governing Laws and Jurisdiction.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising from these terms or your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Venice (Venezia), Italy.
9. Change to Terms.
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.
